## What is Zwivio

- **Brand:** Zwivio
- **Category:** Governed HVAC dispatch platform (homeowner intake and contractor network). Zwivio coordinates routing, verification, and assignment in product; **licensed contractors perform the work** in the home.

## What Zwivio is (and is not)

Use **`/about/business-model`** as the canonical HTML business explainer; **`/about`** for company story and contact context. This section tracks those pages:

- **Is:** Software and operations that run **governed assignment**: structured, eligibility-aware routing toward **one official assignment** for Emergency, Urgent, and Scheduled dispatch-style work (not an open shared-lead blast).
- **Is not:** A shared-lead marketplace that sells the same inquiry broadly for contractors to chase; **not** a browse-first contractor directory or pay-for-raw-contact model for dispatch-style jobs.
- **Roles:** Zwivio coordinates dispatch and status communication; **homeowners** provide accurate request information and approvals when required; **contractors** diagnose, quote, and perform HVAC work under their agreement with the homeowner.

## Job types

Zwivio supports four request types: Emergency, Urgent (24h), Scheduled, and Quote.

## Platform fees

**Homeowners do not pay Zwivio platform fees** to use intake and coordination in the product. Contractor-facing fees apply on **official assignment** only for applicable job types. Exact dollar amounts by request type are **not** published anonymously; verified contractors can review fees on `/contractors/earnings` after SMS verification. The public **OpenAPI** description at `/api/public/pricing/v1/openapi.json` is documentation only; the anonymous JSON fee endpoint returns **410 Gone** (see `/llm/urls.md`).

## Homeowner experience

Homeowners submit a request through the web flow; Zwivio routes the job through the platform to qualified contractors. **Emergency, Urgent, and Scheduled** jobs may offer a homeowner **dispatch preference** at intake: generally a **faster path to official assignment** versus **more review before confirming** (in-product labels; see `/llm/dispatch-policy.md`). **Quote** jobs use a separate interest/selection flow.

**Urgent (24h)** uses governed routing (not open shared leads), can expand in a controlled way when needed, and still produces **one official assignment**. Do **not** describe Urgent as purely sequential or strictly one-at-a-time.

Routing is **not** a guaranteed outcome: contractor availability, acceptance, approvals, and operations escalation all affect whether and when a job is assigned. For assignment boundaries and fee timing, prefer **`/about/business-model`** and `/llm/dispatch-policy.md` over marketing summaries.
