For homeowners

What is Zwivio?

A straight answer in plain language about dispatch, your privacy, texts, and what you pay.

IN SHORT

Zwivio is a Wisconsin HVAC dispatch platform serving the Milwaukee area and neighboring counties: you submit a request, and Zwivio routes it through a governed assignment process, not a free-for-all where your phone rings off the hook from contractors who all bought the same "lead." For typical emergency, urgent, and scheduled dispatch-style jobs, your information is not broadly blasted to a long list of pros. You do not pay Zwivio to submit a request or use the intake and coordination flow. The technician who comes to your home is a licensed contractor, not Zwivio itself.

Dispatch flow in a few steps

Not a broad “all contractors call” lead blast. Your request moves through governed routing.

COST AT A GLANCE

  • Zwivio: $0 to submit a request and use our intake and coordination for standard dispatch flows. No homeowner platform fee.
  • Your contractor: You pay them for the HVAC work: parts, labor, and their service pricing. They are the ones in your home; Zwivio is not.

THE CORE DIFFERENCE

How is this different from a "lead" website?

  • Your dispatch-style request is not sold in parallel to a long list of contractors so they all call you at once.
  • Zwivio is not a browse-and-blast directory whose main trick is dumping your contact info widely.
  • Instead, Zwivio uses guided routing toward assignment. Fewer parties on your request at the same time, with the goal of fewer spam calls and a clearer path than many shared-lead patterns.

What Zwivio is

Zwivio is a local HVAC dispatch platform focused on Wisconsin, starting from the Milwaukee area and selected counties: we help route your request to qualified pros under clear rules, not as a free-for-all. For emergency, urgent same-day, or scheduled dispatch-style work, we reach eligible contractors in an orderly way, often in steps or rounds when the situation calls for it, instead of pushing your contact details to everyone at once.

A contractor usually needs to accept the job and may suggest arrival timing. Sometimes that lines up quickly. Other times Zwivio may ask you to confirm, especially if the timing window changes. The visit is finalized only after any needed steps complete.

Why homeowners use Zwivio

Many people are tired of submitting one form and getting a wave of competing calls. Zwivio is built around focused, governed routing: fewer simultaneous parties on your request for dispatch-style jobs, clearer status, and text updates as things move, without charging you a platform fee for the coordination.

What Zwivio is not

  • Not a typical shared-lead site where the same request is sold to many contractors at once so they all call you.
  • Not a browse-only contractor directory whose main job is to dump contact info widely.
  • Not the company that repairs your furnace or AC in your home. Zwivio coordinates dispatch; your contractor performs the service.

What happens after you submit a request

You describe the problem and where you are, verify your phone, and send the request. Zwivio then works through dispatch toward contractors who can take the job. Zwivio does not promise a specific response time, contractor order, or that the first person contacted will always end up assigned. Real availability and approvals matter.

Your request is in the system

Verification helps confirm the request is real so routing can run safely and seriously.

Zwivio routes the job

Eligible contractors are contacted through a governed process. This is intentionally not an open blast to every HVAC company in the region for dispatch-style jobs.

Toward a confirmed visit

Offers, acceptances, and, when the product requires it, your approval come together before a visit is locked in. Until those steps complete, treat timing as tentative, not a guarantee.

You stay informed

You may receive text updates as routing, approvals, assignment, or trip status change.

How text updates work

Zwivio uses SMS and in-product messages for operational updates: things like routing progress, when your approval is needed, assignment, and trip timing. Messages follow the rules of your job type; you are not required to run your whole life through an app to stay in the loop.

More on what to expect: Text updates guide.

If timing changes or the first path does not work out

Arrival windows are coordinated with you; they are not a blanket guarantee. If proposed timing no longer fits what you asked for, the product may require your explicit confirmation before anything is finalized.

If the first contractor cannot complete the assignment, or an assigned contractor cancels, Zwivio may reroute or escalate the request so you are not left guessing, subject to availability and policy. You should receive updates where the product supports them.

See step-by-step detail on how it works

How contractor contact sharing works

For emergency, urgent, and scheduled dispatch-style requests, Zwivio follows an assignment-first approach: your contact details are shared in line with assignment rules, typically with the contractor who is officially assigned to help you, not with everyone who glimpsed an offer.

Contractors who were not assigned do not receive your information for that job. That is a core part of reducing spam and protecting your privacy compared with broad shared-lead patterns.

Who actually performs the HVAC work

Your contractor diagnoses, repairs, installs, and bills for the work. Zwivio coordinates dispatch, verification requirements for network participation, and status communication. It is not a substitute for the licensed pro on site.

How quote requests differ

Planning a bigger project (replacement, install, comparison shopping) may call for a quote path. Quotes are intentionally different from emergency or urgent dispatch: multiple contractors may express interest, you review candidates, and you choose who is allowed to contact you. Do not assume a quote request behaves exactly like a same-night emergency dispatch.
