WHICH SERVICE DO I NEED?

Find the right fit
for your situation.

Zwivio offers four home service request types for homeowners. Choosing the right one helps your request move through the right path, whether you need the fastest help, service soon, a planned visit, or quotes for a larger project. If you are unsure, the intake flow will guide you.

Emergency Service

EMERGENCY
When to use

A serious home service problem that cannot wait. Examples:

  • No heat in winter
  • No cooling during extreme heat
  • Active water leak or sewer backup
  • Electrical issue affecting safety
  • Major water or storm-related damage that cannot wait
What happens

Emergency is Zwivio's fastest dispatch lane. We start with the best-fit available pro and widen outreach in controlled steps when needed. Expected service window: approximately 2–8 hours after you submit your request. Timing depends on your address, weather, time of day, and live pro availability.

Key fact:Emergency is for a full outage, safety emergency, or other problem that cannot wait—including no heat or no cooling. Pros may be available during evenings, weekends, and overnight hours. After-hours rates may apply and are set by your pro, not Zwivio.

Urgent Service

URGENT
When to use

The problem needs attention soon, but it is not an emergency. Examples:

  • AC is cooling poorly or unevenly
  • Water heater is failing but not fully out
  • Drain keeps backing up
  • Pest issue is getting worse
  • Garage door or appliance issue needs attention soon
What happens

Urgent is for service problems that need attention soon but do not require the fastest Emergency path. Expected service window: approximately 8–24 hours after you submit your request. Timing depends on your address, weather, time of day, and live pro availability. We route your request through governed dispatch and send text updates while outreach is active. If a pro proposes timing outside the expected window, we ask you to confirm before moving forward.

Key fact:Urgent is for problems that need help soon but do not require Emergency-speed service. If the problem becomes a full outage, safety emergency, or cannot wait (such as no heat or no cooling), choose Emergency Service instead.

Scheduled Service

SCHEDULED
When to use

You can plan ahead and share a time range when you are available for a non-urgent visit. Examples:

  • Annual furnace or AC tune-up
  • Planned appliance repair
  • Painting project walkthrough
  • Landscaping or yard-service visit
  • Non-urgent handyman repair
What happens

Scheduled is for planned service visits. Choose an availability window starting at least 24 hours from now. We route your request through governed dispatch to a qualified pro who can work within that range. The pro selects an arrival window, and you confirm timing before the job is officially assigned.

Key fact:Scheduled is not an exact appointment-time picker. You share your availability, and the pro selects an arrival window within that range.

Quote

QUOTE
When to use

You are planning a larger project and want pricing or pro comparison before committing. Examples:

  • Full HVAC system replacement
  • Water damage restoration estimate
  • Painting project
  • Drain/sewer project
  • Larger landscaping, repair, or installation project where you want pricing before deciding
What happens

You choose how many quotes you want to review. Interested pros can respond during the quote window shown in intake. You decide which pros may receive your contact information. Zwivio is free for homeowners, and you pay whichever pro you hire for the work they perform.

Key fact:Quote requests are not exclusive. Multiple pros may be approved. This is the only Zwivio request type designed for comparing more than one pro.

Timing depends on your address and live pro availability. Emergency and Urgent show expected service windows during intake. Scheduled lets you share an availability window, and a pro selects an arrival window within that range.
