Find the right fit
for your situation.
Zwivio handles four types of HVAC requests. Choosing the right one helps your request move the right way, whether you need help now, today, later, or want to compare quotes. If you are unsure, the intake flow will guide you.
Emergency Service
Your system has completely failed and you need help as soon as possible. Examples:
- No heat in winter
- No cooling during extreme heat
- Your HVAC system stopped working completely
- A serious HVAC problem is getting worse quickly
We start with the best-fit available contractor first. If they cannot take it, we keep the request moving to other qualified contractors until help is confirmed. When availability is strong, confirmation can happen quickly, but timing still depends on real-time coverage.
Key fact:Emergency contractors may be available at many hours, including overnight, depending on your address and current availability. Expect after-hours rates from your contractor. Zwivio does not set what contractors charge for their work.
Urgent (24h)
Your system is running but struggling, and waiting more than 24 hours isn't realistic. Examples:
- AC is cooling poorly during a hot week
- Furnace is cycling on and off inconsistently
- Strange noises or smells that are getting worse
- A repair you've been putting off that can't wait a week
Urgent requests are moved quickly, but not with the same immediate priority as emergency outages. We start with a qualified contractor who looks like a good fit and keep the request moving if timing or availability does not work out. Depending on the situation, we may confirm the contractor right away or pause briefly for your approval. You will get text updates as timing becomes clear.
Key fact:Urgent (24h) is for problems that need help soon but do not require the fastest dispatch path. If you need immediate help for a complete outage, choose Emergency Service instead.
Scheduled Service
You want to book a specific service window in advance. No urgency. Examples:
- Annual furnace or AC tune-up
- Seasonal maintenance before winter or summer
- A non-urgent repair you've identified
- A follow-up visit after a previous repair
You choose a service window. We route your request in a governed, non-blast flow to a qualified contractor who can meet that window. You confirm the official assignment before it's final. Your contractor knows exactly when to show up.
Key fact:Scheduled jobs require your explicit confirmation before assignment is finalized. You are in control of the timing.
Quote
You're planning a larger project and want to compare contractors before committing. Examples:
- Full system replacement (furnace, AC, heat pump)
- Major installation or upgrade
- Any job where you want more than one opinion before deciding
You set how many contractor quotes you want (2 to 5). Contractors express interest. You review and approve which ones get your contact information. Zwivio is free for homeowners: you choose who to connect with, and you pay whichever contractor you hire for the work they perform.
Key fact:Quote jobs are not exclusive. Multiple contractors may be approved. This is the only Zwivio service type where more than one contractor is involved.
